its pretty much time we got this in order.
we have 2 plans were putting forward, just want to see where the groups leaning here.

please vote, and comment if you have suggestions you want to put forward.

option A- just a meet up, much like the show n shine, without the venue.
just a massive open industrial area, music, food vans and RC drift track. park, talk look at cars for the day. (will be on a huge slab of concrete and can hold alot of cars)

option B- another cruise, either through the hills (not kinglake/hard style hills, more state forrest leasure drive) talk, shoot, cruise home.

gives the mods a little to think about before we release the new event.

EOI: cheap WRX Seats (they need work)

I've got a pair of WRX seats sitting in the garage that I was going to use in the Datto but have decided against it as they're probably a bit big for such a small car. Problem is they've been retrimmed in a past life in cream vinyl, probably by someone who likes bright paint and chrome wheels, and they have SXCRXC embroided in the headrests
Each one is also missing a bracket/mechanism from one side and they've been sitting around for a while. The bracket/mechanism would need to be sourced for the seats to be complete, and you'd probably want to re-trim them. I only want $200 for them. I can get pics if anyone's interested.

HOON drivers were the target of a police blitz in Melbourne's north last night.

More than 150 police including the air wing, dog squad, members on horse back, highway patrol and a brawler van were part of the massive road safety operation.

Police checked around 60 drivers and said around 100 people were at the scene in Thorneycroft Rd, Campbellfield.

Police said hoons gathering in Thomastown, Laverton, Campbelfield and Port Melbourne had become a danger to the community.

"It's becoming unsafe, basically we have to shut it down nice and early,'' Sgt Greg Hinton of Fawkner police said.

In a police briefing attended by the Herald Sun police outlined their three phase plan of attack.

Phase one: Police hide in industrial estates and factories around Melbourne.

Phase two: Hidden police units break from cover to intercept the gathered hoons before channeling them to a series of checkpoints.

Phase three: Police process hoon drivers, issue fines and search for drugs.

Sgt Hinton warned the officers the operation could be dangerous.

"We are dealing with 400 kids who are P-platers with attitude,'' Sgt Hinton told the group.

"Just take a step back and just send them to the check points with their attitude.

"If they do cross a line and we have to cross the line make sure you have got numbers. Get there in numbers.''

He also revealed that the youths were using sophisticated monitoring to elude police, including scanners.

"They use spotters who come in early, so we really need to be a couple of steps ahead of them,'' Sgt Hinton said.

Police monitored a similar gathering of 150 people on Monday this week where hoons did burn outs and drag racing.

So they are at it again. Guess most in the north probably already heard...

Went to M&S driveshafts in sunshine, quoted $450 per shaft to modify the shaft + supply and fit the new CV's.

ok so heres my dilemma

ok so i sold a mate a T-50 gearbox roughly 4-5 months ago to use in
his 4age conversion. it was sold for 300 bucks he's paid me 150 to date.

now the quandrary is that, he rings me up tonight and says the gearbox wont shift into gears and withs fucked.

when i took it outta my car to upgrage to a W48 it was fine.

... so should i give him his money back or should i say fuck him.?

i have no fuckin idea what to do and dont really feel like shelling out 150.
