Varex exhaust on NA supra?

yes. u wil still be able to drive round but u will notice the diference.

- smart copper can easily see the valve with a torch, which is instant defect
- the actuator is on top which lowers the cannon down more, sucks ass with epic low car

pos's are...
-practicality
-beats stander throttle body style silencer valve as this vents back pressure


heard it on a r33 gtr and sounded sweet when open, but when shut was quite as D:
imo can fix the two negs above with some creative fabrication (:

does this really matter?
times when you need a silent car are times when you dont need its full performance potential anyway
eg: any time when a cop is with 10 meter radius of your car any reason
also when ya picking up/dropping off ya gf, so the dad doesnt write you off as hoon > pulls out the shot gun
or when ya driven home late at night and dont wish to piss off ya neighbors with straight pipes

if you can afford the bloody Varex in the first place why dont you use that $$ to put extra high flow mufflers that keep you car quiet and legal the first time round...

yea varex is good but it does has its pros and cons. not worth recieving the defect...

waste of time if u ask me, you'll fail epa even with varex your not allowed to have that style systemon your car

so you may as well either get a legal exhaust below 90db or get whatever u want and worry about it down the track..

have heard a varex they do work but meh..seems like wank factor its either one or the other for me, quiet and proper or loud and dont give a fudge

Exactly, prob loosing power putting a big exhaust on it, just get a stock turbo model supra exhaust
