come to the wash on monday bro and ill have a look for yea...its piss easy.....u can test the hd by getting the yellow and red and put it on the positive side of the battery and earth the black wire. if it doesnt turn on its fkd

Make sure your accesories wire (red from aftermarket headunit loom) is connected to the correct factory wire as the headunit will not turn on if its not connected. Yellow - constant, black - earth, red - accesories. If these three are connected then your headunit will turn on

cheers will make sure everything is hooked up also got a question.

old head unit has 2 yellow wires going to two different globe fuses one 15volt other 4 volts why? i never seen that before. so when i installed the new unit i only hooked the 15volt fuse up.

it might have independant constants for some reason. im not familiar with old school headunits but the only reasonable explanation i can think of is that the 4volt constant may be keeping the clocks memory
