Help small problem
hey i drive a 180sx turbo, and the other day i was wiring a sony head unit, and i accidentally sparked some shit with the old head unit cables and blew my dash lights. i looked through all the fuses and changed all broken ones and still doesn't work, i also checked the TCU and that's fine. would i have blown the lights be hind the dash?
whats faster then a speeding bullet?

Nope you would of blown the fuse - 3rd or 4th bottom on the right hand side of the fuse box its meant to be a 15 but you'll need to run a 20 o 25 if you jack power off it for the head unit. I would suggest running a seperate 12v wire with in line fuse as this avoid voltage spikes, you also have to factor in, Nissan made wires at certain thicknesses because thats how much ampage is designed to run through them, if you load more in it can melt the wire in various spots until it finally earths itself somewhere. Hope this helps

RE: Help small problem
haha how smart. gonna highjack this thread. i was trying to wire separate switches to my headlights, and sparked something, but now my headlights won't close, only open. can't find any fuses that are dead, not sure about relays because there's about 5 of them for the headlights. what could be wrong?

RE: Help small problem
it's next to the throttle, like most other cars, i just thought there wouldn't be one there because it's already got most the stuff under the bonnet.
