Focal Dealers
Anyone have hookups for genuine Focal stuff?
I'm specifically looking for a 11inch K2-Power 27KX Subwoofer and a Solid1 Amplifier (red or black, don't care). I don't need anything else, just those items, new. Annnyyyooonnneee???

RE: Focal Dealers
It's against Focal policy to buy Focal items online. Anything purchased that isn't through a registered Focal dealer isn't covered by warranty or after sales support (They won't even fix it if it breaks at your expense). So it pretty much has to come from a dealer. Was just hoping someone has a friend who works at one or whatever.

RE: Focal Dealers
I bought audio gear from USA before, from http://www.woofersetc.com - great service and a good price to boot. You might want to compare prices to see if it's worthwhile discarding warranty - in my case (Alpine PDX-5) it was about 65% of the price of what an Alpine dealer wanted for local stock, so I opted for that method.
Otherwise, Freeway Car Audio in Dandenong/Malvern are Focal dealers IIRC. www.tangcla.com - automotive photographer 07/08/10: tangcla PHOTOSHOOT NIGHT

RE: Focal Dealers
*nods* I might just ring focal dealer after focal dealer and see who's the cheapest.
Shipping from the states destroys any savings you might make. And woofers etc has the sub listed at $999.99 US, when Aussie retail is $819. Go figure. Nerd Jesus The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism. Team4G Founder 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 E39A |

Depends on what though. I bought all Stinger HPM wiring, fuseholders, and my Alpine amp and even after shipping it was cheaper than what the Alpine dealer was offering to me

RE: Focal Dealers
http://www.stylyn.com/
Stylyn 268 Dorset Rd, Boronia - (03) 9739 8866 Garys in Mitcham. Stylyn does great installs, has a great range of Alpine, Focal, Rockford, MB. Garys has Basics of Alpine, Focal, Soundstream. Performance Car Audio in Bayswater has Hertz and Audison. My choice would be Focal powered by Audison or Rockford installed by Adam at Stylyn. Budget would be Hertz with low end Audison. Their 5ch amps are nice and small, SQ is awesome. Can power the whole system with one amp hidden under the seat. |

Freeway Car Audio in Dandenong/Malvern. Give them a call, see what you find.
http://freewaycaraudio.com.au/ The Dandenong store is better than the Malvern store though .
