plastic welding??
Hi guys, Does any one know of anyone that does plastic welding? There is a small crack on the front bar on my evo and i was just wondering where i could go to get it fixed?

hey ryan where are you from?
close to me im guessing ![]() phil mundys did most of my panels, not sure if they do plastic welding though. couldnt recommend them higher though, and JT panels are fantastic also. kindest regards. 峠 rod - victorian import's club president ![]() |

thanks for the help guys ill start ringing around hopefully it wont be too big of a job. Still looking for some one a bit closer to the west side though lol

Hi,
You can't just weld any old plastic. Some plastics are "welded" by solvents, PVC pipe and acrylic (Plexiglas) included. Some plastics are thermo set or chemical set and if heated will not melt but burn - nylon is one of these. To join them you need glues that will work with those specific plastics. r4 adapter |

i dont think its too bad. Its a small crack in my factory evo 7 front bar. On the side where the small fins are i dont think its too bad and most of the damage is under where the lip bolts on.
If this works there will be a pic under this post. If not ill keep working on it... |

yeah i could fix it but ud need to spray it after. thats pretty thick and would be hard to smooth out to not notice
